the feeling in my gut
the words, the thoughts, the entire sum
the door that had been shut.
the formerly planned certainty
the gratefulness of such
now for the sake of sanity
i cannot be the crutch
the concrete, firm, integrity
the need to keep it sober
all this in its entirety
is said, is done, and over.
