First

all nighter of the quarter.

And it's only week 3...

I fear for what's to come.

Getaway

Some people indulge in drunken debauchery when they feel overwhelmed.

Me?

I take naps.

Good night, world.

E for Epic Fail

...

I'm sitting in my second class for the day.

We have a project due in this class...

It's basically a photoshop file that we have to burn onto a CD to turn in...my laptop is no bueno, so I figured I'd just bring my external hard drive to class and burn the CD here. Being the absent-minded girl I am, I left my USB cord at home. So...I had to get the image off my Facebook account and I resaved that as a .psd file. The image quality is not as good, and the size is off as well. I can say that it's better than nothing, though.

...sigh...

F for Fail

Today is another day I've failed.

I had an assignment due but it totally slipped my mind. Fortunately, the TA for this lab is gracious and has allowed me to turn it in at a later date.

Yesterday was another day I failed.

I let my frustration at something trivial get the best of me and I wore the frustration as an expression on my face.

All days that have come to pass are days I've failed.
All days that have yet to come are days I will fail.

Thank God for Jesus...

Battle scars

I've come to learn that you really have to learn how to pick your battles.

Pastor Peter Kim has said time and time again that if you decide to fight for every little thing that you believe, you won't be taken seriously when it comes time to fight for something really important...or something along those lines. I'm sure he worded it in a more articulate way...

I've been failing at picking the right battles these days.

Maybe it's because I haven't been getting enough sleep lately. Sleep deprivation really does seep into and stain every aspect of my life.

Picture taken some time last year in my backyard w/my old SD600...the sunlight was actually hitting the rose this way.

We're all crazy.

Interesting.

I typed in "We" for "Week 3" for the title of this blog, but the auto-complete thing filled it in as "We're all crazy." I kept it because it's equally as fitting.

I wonder what I typed that in for before? Perhaps another blog entry somewhere else. After all, this is only my sixth blog since 2005.......

Anyway. We're all crazy.

I talked with Mimi from 7pm to about 5am last night 'til this morning. I'm constantly amazed at how gracious God is. I'm constantly amazed at how beautifully awesome it's been to live here at Rancho.

It's the beginning of week 3. Twenty more weeks after this, and I'm officially done with UCI...as an undergraduate student.

I've a paper to write and a project to finish...and start. I've books to read and a website to make. I better get to it.

I'll leave you with one of my favorite pictures.
