Bubble Girl

I am very slightly allergic to:
- cockroach
- soybean
- walnut
- Juniper/Cypress trees
- Penicillium
- Epicoccum
- Trichophyton

I am moderately allergic to:
- D. farinae
- D. pteronyssinus
- cat
- dog
- Amaranth/Atrip weeds
- Ragweed

I am highly allergic to:
- household dust
- horse
- grass
- sage weed
- Ash/Olive trees (and other major and minor trees...whatever that means)
- Alternaria-Spore 1:20 (what? mleh. It's under the "Mold" section...)

Of the 35 pricks, 2 were controls. So...of the 33 pricks, I reacted to 23 of them. I told the allergist that I'm also allergic to all melons, bananas, avocados and sometimes kiwis, and he told me that I should stay away from latex because it's very likely that I'll develop a latex allergy with more exposure. He also gave me a bunch of samples to take on a daily basis...

Lovely...

I should just live in a bubble. hahah...

I'm really glad I figured out what I'm allergic to =]

The doctor was really nice. I wanted to give him a big hug afterward...but I guess that'd have been a little odd.

I'm going in for a follow-up in a couple of weeks...though I actually don't really known why. Hm...

Allergies

I finally went to see an allergist today and got a skin test done...

A skin test is basically...getting pricked by 35 different needles with 35 different allergens on them...at least, that's what I'm pretty sure it is. I just know that I for sure got pricked 35 times on my back...and I'm allergic to a lot of things. Haha...go figure.

._.

I really need to work on being a happier person in the mornings.

Night Owl

There was a period of a few days (maybe weeks?) when I was sleeping relatively early.

=T

I've been sleeping late again...dagnabit.

It's already almost 3AM.

sigh.

word choices

"that's mean" vs. "you're mean."

HUGE difference.

Seeing is no longer believing

...or something along those lines.

Project #2
Studio Arts 65A

I suck at Photoshop, dudes and dudettes. The assignment was supposed to combine two (or more) photographs and make it look like one...kinda. The image is supposed to send some kind of message...

So I learned recently (in this class) that even some photographs we see in nature magazines or like National Geographic are posed and fake. I took this famous photograph ("The Kiss" by Alfred Eisenstaedt) and edited it to basically imply that it was posed and fake...it was actually candid. The point is that you never really know whether a photo you're seeing is as candid and genuine as it may (or may not) seem.

That is all...
